The event went off very well thanks to a great effort by Chris & Leanne Wright. Santa was especially well received by the 7 or 8 children who attended. Jim had them absolutely mesmerised and captivated. The weather was kind light showers during early hours of Sunday morning and a steady SE breeze kept the temperature in check to counter the effect of the alcohol consumption at Dux - just a great venue. Apparently
there were 84 in attendance at McLaren’s Landing and at least 20 boats moored
up for the night at Dux. It was a very enjoyable weekend meeting a considerable
number of new members and renewing old acquaintances.
