Couran Cove turned on a splendid weekend for the club with clear skies, brilliant sunshine and warm to hot days with light, cooling sea breezes. Approx 35 Whittley's arrived on Saturday 3rd December for the Christmas Lunch at Blue Gum Point, and after re-organising the tables to maximise shade in the sweltering conditions, a fine spread was enjoyed by all. Santa arrived with a sack full of gifts for the kids and the lucky door prizes were drawn - with quite a few jokes from Santa to amuse the crowd too. The resort facilities were well used by the club, particularly the pool. A few ventured off on bikes to the surf beach for a brilliant view over the sand dunes to the ocean and down to Surfers and the unmistakable icon Q1 on the horizon. Another great Whittley Weekend.
