Whittley Cruiser 630

Viewed for the first time outside the factory, the new Whittley Cruiser 630 was unveiled to 100 select guests at Northside Marine on Tuesday 23rd August 2005.

Steve and Angie Whittley were there to show-off the latest edition to this versatile range of boats and mingle with the guests to hear feedback on first impressions.

Greg Nickerson and staff were grinning from ear to ear - as were we all - when the green and gold spinnaker was removed and the new model's curvaceous lines and impressive stance had the throng applauding with vigour. This is a modern boat with genuine practicality, innovative design, oozing with style and that trademark Whittley build quality.

Carrying over the new Whittley styling cues from the 550 and 660 Cruisers, but adding a sporty and swanky Targa Bar and wrap-around windscreen, this new model raises the bar another notch or two in the family weekender (up)market stakes.

New features include:

	galley with fridge, sink and cooktop;
	a club lounge which converts to a double bed (approx 192cm x 132cm) - larger than the Cruisemaster's and at a slightly lower height;
	large double V-berth bed;
	concealed sliding lockable cabin door - very clever;
	removable table and hide-away storage spot for it;
	walk-through transom door with integrated step;
	large rear boarding platform (timber look optional);
	drained wet well in the transom;
	inner spring cushioned full sized helm and navigator seats;
	208 litre fuel and 100 litre water;
	Approx 2.5 tonnes BMT.
