General News:
	There are new recreational boating safety improvements that have come into effect as of 1st January, 2012. Click here for a direct link to the web site information.
	Seven boats joined us to see in 2012 at Sanctuary Cove on the 31st December. For a quick almost spontaneous outing plan by Peter and Miranda it was a fabulous time. The photos from the event are now in the gallery.
	The Christmas Party was a great time had by all ... graet boat club outing, just no boats. The winds were high from late on Thursday all through Friday, and into Saturday. Lucky we can all get to Harrigan's by car.

On Water Events

Note - standard communication channels for all Whittley events will be 96 on 27Meg and 72 on VHF so that, even if the weather turns nasty on the day, a simple call on the radio will provide our new location.
